What is counselling?
Counselling is a process of working with a highly trained therapist working within professional codes of practice. Counselling provides an opportunity for you to explore your difficulties and problems in a safe and highly confidential environment. You will be able to share your thoughts and feelings in a client centred way that can bring new understanding both of the problems and of yourself.

How can counselling help me?
Counselling helps you to examine the issues that have led you to seek help, the counsellors job is to listen, try to understand and help you to make your own decisions – not provide the answers or tell you what to do. This may be a difficult process, but most clients find it ultimately very beneficial, and many find that they have explored aspects of themselves that have previously gone unchallenged.
